MISSION



It is our mission to make available first-class and affordable academic education and professional skills training in hospitality and tourism and related areas, and to ensure that students receive the education that will provide them with the opportunity to enjoy a lifetime of personal and career development built on the solid foundation gained at the College in order to enable them to contribute to the enhancement
of the quality of hospitality and tourism both nationally and internationally.



PHILOSOPHY



Our programs are designed to meet the needs of the hospitality and tourism job market, in recognition of the strategic importance of the industry to the economic development of the country. The programs employ an outcome based approach which pays attention to experiential and workplace learning opportunities in order to produce graduates who are committed to lifelong learning and have the skills and competencies to contribute immediately to the workplace at a supervisory or middle management level. It is expected that our graduates demonstrate an awareness of ethical practices and professionalism in the execution of their jobs.

As the hospitality and tourism industry is one of the world’s largest and fastest growing economic sectors and this growth is predicted to continue there are ample opportunities for competent graduates. Although our degree programs prepare students for middle management positions, our unique program covers all departments in a hotel from line level to middle management level. Consequently our graduates easily obtain employment in their home country as well as with prestigious international hotel chains, while others start their own businesses.
